The mad grasser struck today! Starting at 10:00 when the dew went away, YES, I did go to church! We have ours on Saturday night. With three rural parishes for Fr Pat, he celebrates Holy Mass several times a weekend. Three hours later, St. Michaels was looking good. But... I got a flat tire, probably from getting too close to the barbed wire that protects the dead from the local cows. Fix A Flat to the rescue. Finished the half of St. Lukes Lutheran I didn't get done yesterday plus finished my cancer neighbor too. Lavon and I went to the Lutheran church for fried chicken, homemade rolls and excellent desserts for dinner. Now, it's time for the Royals!
Two more properties to cut tomorrow. Then its pack, pack and wonder if we packed it all. All the relatives are coming over tomorrow night to discuss what needs to be taken care of. As most of you know we have two dogs. We have never left them for this long. When we travel, we usually take them with us. This is our only worry. Fr. Pat at our church told Lavon to pray to St Francis, the patron saint for animals. We touched base with him too.
Two more days!
