After yesterday's double-sainthood of John XXIII and John Paul II ceremony in Rome, we are pumped to get over there to hopefully visit their tombs. John XXIII is incorrupt and is displayed under an altar. Incorruptible is considered an important event in the Catholic Church and many popular saints of the 1800's are incorrupt. One of our trips will be in Lourdes where St. Bernadette is also incorrupt. We hope to get pictures to share, but if you can't wait, you can do a Google and use the terms incorruptible's and Catholic in the search box. Whatever the meaning of being incorruptible, and whether or not the person is a saint is certainly beyond my pay grade, so I'll leave it to the professionals.

In the meantime, pray for those poor folks down in Arkansas who got blown away last night and those who lost their lives and their families. May perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. Amen.

Passports are HERE!

Good news, all the negative things I have said about Obama in the past apparently did not reach the Department of State who, fortunately for us, have renewed our passports. Odd, though, they sent the old ones back as well, no stamps on it indicating "not usable," or some other bureaucratic non-sensical saying. They will expire this month (the old ones) so I figure the government wants me to destroy them and add the shavings to the local trash dump instead of the trash dump in Washington D.C.
